About me

I am a senior software engineer at Open Systems International (currently Aspen Technology). My work involves developing optimization software for Power System applications, with a focus on generation management systems.

I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University. My research area involved explainable AI-driven design space exploration, multi-objective optimization, evolutionary algorithms, and machine learning.

After graduating from Jadavpur University in 2016, my professional journey started at Wipro Digital as a software developer. I started my Ph.D. program at MSU in 2018, where DARPA Tansformative Design (TRADES) was my first project in collaboration with Siemens, PARC and Georgia Tech. Since then, I have worked with multiple industries like Ford and General Motors as a graduate research assistant, including a 2019 summer internship at Siemens.

In my spare time, I like reading up on modern history and current affairs. Currently, I am learning to play the keyboard and achieve conversational fluency in French.

Please feel free to check out my LinkedIn and GitHub profiles for further details about my work and education. You can reach me at ghoshab1@msu.edu
